Rebecca performs in concert, opera and in varying vocal ensembles. Attending course such as ‘The Ardingly International Singing Course’ and ‘The Oxenfoord International singing summer school’ she has worked with Neil Jenkins, Ameral Gunson, and performed with Robin Bowman and Malcolm Martineau.
Solo oratorio repertoire includes Handel’s ‘Messiah’ and Britten’s ‘Ceremony of Carols’ with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Mozart’s ‘Requiem’, Haydn’s ‘Little organ mass’, Purcell’s ‘Come ye sons of art’ and ‘Ode to St Cecilia’, Vaughan William’s ‘Serenade to Music’, Haydn’s ‘Harmoniemesse’, Schubert’s ‘Mass in G’, and Mendelssohn’s ‘Herr mein Bitten’.
Operas credits include 1st witch (Venus and Adonis/Dido and Aeneas Hampstead garden Opera), Carmen (Ardingly International Singing Summer school), Chorus (Macbeth English Opera Singers), Yum Yum (The Mikado Royal Holloway College Opera Society), Kate (Pirates of Penzance Royal Holloway Opera Society), 3rd Boy (Magic Flute Jackdaws Young Artist programme), Chorus (Death in Venice Endillion Festival Chorus), Chorus (The Bartered Bride Surrey Opera).
In the UK, Rebecca has given recitals in The Queens Private Chapel (Windsor Great Park), The Royal courts of Justice London, The Lady Chapel, Ely Cathedral and has performed in Wigmore Hall, Cadogan Hall, Westminster Abbey London, Southwark, Exeter, Chichester, St Paul’s London, Truro, St Alban’s Cathedrals, and Leeds Castle, and sings regularly with professional chamber choirs including Voces Cantabiles, Voces8, Colla Voce, Purely Choral, Il Suono, The London Chamber Consort as well as maintaining a regular Sunday job at the church of St Simon Zealotes, Chelsea London. She has performed at Oxford, Portsmouth and St Endillion Music festivals under the baton of David Hill, Aidan Oliver, and Martyn Brabbins.
Outside of the Uk, Rebecca has toured abroad to Czech Republic Prague, Belgium, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, France, Poland, Amsterdam, Italy, where she sung in St Marks Venice and the Basilica in Florence, and St Petersburg, Russia where she sang in the British Consulate. Her favourite experience has been touring the east coast of the USA, where she was lucky enough to perform in St Thomas fifth Avenue, New York, The British Embassy and Washington National Cathedral, Washington, Princeton University chapel, and Havard Memorial church where she was the soprano soloist in a premiere performance of a new work by the American composer Carson Cooman along with the Buttrick Sinfonia.
